Intended for: Capital Projects Executives, Program/Project Managers

June 2, 2022 - 11:00 am PDT June 7, 2022 - 3:00 pm PDT
Deployment of new public transit capacity has been often hampered by the limitations of conventional modes of transit. These limitations include high capital and/or operating costs that hinder project financing, unreliable project delivery that often result in delays and cost-overruns, and finally, deployment durations measured in decades that degrade the realized cost-benefit. Accordingly, skyTran has been designed to surpass the limitations of current modes and directly address these project economics with a superior business case. It is our goal to commercialize a transportation alternative that will reduce congestion, enable economic growth, and help make cities more liveable. Our innovative technology will surpass the limitations of conventional transportation modes by offering superior economics, lower costs, smoother project delivery, and faster deployment. We seek to engage City and Public Transportation Authority executives as well as economists/strategic consultants interested in sharing their expertise regarding topics such as business case, cost-benefit, and project finance. We will examine topics such as farebox recovery, ride pricing, and operating costs. Our objective is to elucidate economic approaches that will facilitate the adoption of our solution.
